Gwrych Castle
Gwrych Castle is a Grade I listed country house in the town of Abergele, North Wales. The frontage is 1500ft in length, and there are 18 battlemented towers inspired by the great medieval castles of Wales. It is one of the most important buildings of its type in Europe and has a history going back over several hundred years. Gwrych Castle and grounds is now open daily for visitors to explore and enjoy the 250 acres of historic gardens and parkland.
The castle Trust purchased the building in June 2018, and it is currently embarking on a restoration programme of the ruined main house.
