Hands On Big Ideas offers making events and experiences. We hope to encourage participants to think about the creative role they could play in their world!

Alicia Ongay-Perez is an experienced educator and mum of two who lives in Merton. She trained in London and the Netherlands and worked in Europe in the field of Design and Architecture for over 15 years. During this time she exhibited her personal work all over the world. She later qualified as a teacher and has taught Art Design and Technology across all key stages for the last 8 years. Through her teaching she gained extensive experience of cross-curricular Project Based Learning principles and community engagement projects.
