Hello Print Studio is a friendly and professional printmaking studio in a stunning Victorian warehouse in Margate, Kent. We offer workshops, studio hire and artist residencies. Facilities include screenprinting, etching, relief printing and letterpress. Hello Print Studio is part of Resort, a collective of artists based in Margate.
Hello Print Studio is run by Nick Morley. Nick is an artist and illustrator specialising in linocut, etching and screenprinting. Nick's work is collected internationally and his illustrations have appeared on book covers, magazines and chilli sauce labels. With over fifteen years of printmaking experience, Nick has taught workshops at the V&A Museum and Central St Martins in London, and Opificio della Rosa in Italy.
The studio is situated on the first floor of an old warehouse, up two flights of stairs. Unfortunately we do not have wheelchair access at this time.
We are a 20 minute walk (along the beach) from Margate railway station and 5 minutes from Turner Contemporary.
Margate is well connected by train to London, Ashford International, Canterbury, Faversham and Whitstable. There are usually taxis available at the station.
Direct services run from London Victoria (1h50) and St Pancras International (1h30). The Victoria service is slightly cheaper.
National Express run a coach service from London Victoria coach station. Journey time 2h30 to 2h55.
Stagecoach run several services around Thanet. The Thanet Loop, No. 33 and No. 8 buses all stop nearby.
We are about 90 mins from South and East London via the M20 and M2. You can park in Athelstan Road for as long as you like.
