Huntingdonshire History Festival

The Huntingdonshire History Festival is registered charity, run solely by volunteers. We are hoping to make the local history of where people live and work accessible and raise awareness of the fascinating heritage of the old county of Huntingdonshire.

The Huntingdonshire History Festival is a month long programme of events that takes place each July, including talks, tours, family activities, exhibitions, historical re-enactments and concerts that celebrate the story of Huntingdonshire. In 2019 (our last festival) we held over 150 events for over 10,000 visitors. Events take place in Huntingdon, Godmanchester, St Neots, Ramsey and St Ives thanks to generous support from a number of funders, including the A14 Fund, the Huntingdon Freemen’s Trust and the Heritage Lottery Fund.

The organising committee and trustees of the Huntingdonshire History Festival are excited to announce that the Festival will be back July 2022 - watch this space for events being added!
