HYGGE smørrebrød is founded and run by Aarhus-raised, London based Danish chef Caecilie Hougaard Pedersen.

‘Having always loved to cook and experiment in the kitchen, I took to plunge and launched HYGGE smørrebrød in 2016 after leaving my full time job and completing my MA in Creative Entrepreneurship. Danish food is a big part of who I am and I am so excited to share it with you all.’

Based around the concept of traditional Danish smørrebrød (open faced sandwiches) we trade at markets across London, as well as host pop-up restaurant nights and lunches, and cater both private and custom designed events.
