Ikigai Printmaking & Jo Bristow

Based on a farm in Cornwall close to the border with Devon, Ikigai Printmaking has been providing courses, kits and materials for five years. People attend courses from all across the UK and also overseas. Attracted by the relaxed atmosphere and supportive help, students can learn a skill or just meet and be creative together.

Courses on offer include

Linocut Printmaking - we do a beginners workshop, linocut for portaits and also multi colour reduction technique.

Experimental Cyanotype - this is a fun workshop for all ages and experience. We harness the sun to produce stunning blue prints. In the winter we use a UV lightbox.

Photopolymer Stamps - In this half day workshop you can create your own Logo stamp to create your own business cards, letterheads or gift cards.

Introduction to Mezzotint - Jo Bristow takes you through the non toxic Intaglio process Mezzotint to create rich velvety prints to take away.
