International Women's Day 2018

International Women's Day (8th March) is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women. The day also marks a call to action for accelerating gender parity.

Look out for #BUed18 for  programme and talk updates.

Developing Women Leaders
Join Bournemouth University and the Chartered Management Institute (CMI) to discuss the progress made on achieving gender balance in the 100 years since women were allowed to vote.  Our panel of experts will share their industry insights and experiences of gender challenges along with some highlights from the CMIs new research which provides actionable insights on creating and maintaining gender diversity in the workplace.

All events are open to BU students, staff and the wider community.

We hope the range of events will raise students, staff and the public awareness of gender equality. This programme of events has been organised and supported by:

- Bournemouth University
- Students' Union Bournemouth University (SUBU)
