Jacqui Barnett

I offer evidence-based, practical mindfulness training to change unwanted behaviours, such as reducing stress, anxiety, burnout and/or emotional eating.

Mindfulness develops the awareness, insight and "mental fitness" required to break free from unhelpful habits and a practical way to develop resilience, improve wellbeing and enjoy more freedom of choice.

My training options combine general Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) and Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) for stress, anxiety and related issues. I also teach Mindful Eating to specifically address stress/emotional eating issues.

Training options are available in-person, in-house and online for groups and individuals:

  • Mindful Eating Groups and individual coaching
  • Introduction to mindfulness workshops
  • Mindfulness day and half day retreats
  • MBSR/MBCT gold standard 8-week courses
  • Bespoke workplace mindfulness training
  • Individual mindfulness coaching

I am a qualified and experienced teacher completing an MSc in Mindfulness-Based Approaches with Bangor University. I am also completing Mindful Eating Training under the supervision of Dr Judson Brewer, at the Centre for Mindfulness, UMASS .

I adhere to the rigorous UK Good Practice Guidelines for mindfulness instructors and am listed in the national Mental Health Foundation Be Mindful directory and UK Network of Mindfulness Teachers.
