Jane Parker
I am an accredited Islington guide. My guiding style is friendly, open and inclusive, and I like to swop stories and engage with the people who join me.
My tours are about the subjects I am genuinely interested in. Some are generic hidden highlights ,others are themed by subject such as Art Deco, pubs, parks, ghostsigns, films and books. Most are a mile to a mile and a half long and last between 90-minutes and two hours, although longer tours are available. Being a stickler for cross-referencing, I design and research every route myself as I believe people like to find out the interesting snippets, not just dates and often-repeated 'facts'.
I am always coming up with new walk ideas on different themes. Please do get in touch if you have ideas of your own, perhaps for a bespoke walk on a subject you are interested in, and I will do my best to come up with something tailored just for you.
