Hi, I’m Jon Fell, and I’d love to invite you to a very special evening – The Secret Table Dining Experience – held right here at the beautiful Underscar.

With over 35 years in the kitchen, 24 of those spent right here on the west coast of Cumbria, I’ve developed a deep passion for celebrating local and seasonal ingredients – especially the incredible seafood our coastline has to offer.

This exclusive five-course dinner will showcase the very best of what our region has to offer – innovative, flavourful dishes inspired by the amazing Cumbrian producers I’ve had the pleasure of working with over the years.

The event takes place in the contemporary bistro at Underscar, nestled beneath Skiddaw, with breathtaking views over Derwent Water and the Northern Lakes. It’s a true home away from home – with luxury self-catering accommodation, an onsite spa, and if you're lucky, even the odd red squirrel!

We’ll have limited spaces – just 30 guests – so you’ll get the chance to enjoy the food and also have a good chat with me about the menu, ingredients, and stories behind the dishes.
