Jules Maxwell

Jules Maxwell is a composer and songwriter from Northern Ireland. He has worked extensively at

Shakespeare’s Globe, the National Theatre and the Young Vic in London and in 2019 his debut

opera The Lost Thing was presented at the Royal Opera House Covent Garden. Since 2012 he

has been keyboard player with the band Dead Can Dance. He co-wrote a collection of songs with

Lisa Gerrard for an album by Le Mystère des Voix Bulgares and has composed music for a wide

variety of choreographers including Wayne McGregor, Jasmin Vardimon, Jane Mason, Cathy

Marston, Charlotte Darbyshire, Theo Clinkard, Filip Van Huffel, Vincent Dance Theatre, Laila Diallo,

Hofesh Schecter and Jeanine Durning
