Jumia is an African story written by 3 000 associates across 23 countries, connecting customers, entrepreneurs, men and women together. The story started in 2012 with a calling: improve people’s lives on the continent by creating and promoting a digital and connected Africa. Although the creation of an ecosystem of online commerces, marketplaces and classifieds across Africa seemed impossible to many back in 2012, Jumia has federated millions of customers since then and received support from MTN, Rocket Internet, Millicom, Orange, Axa, Goldman Sachs and CDC.
