My name is Katie-Marie and I am a fitness and lifestyle coach living in London. At the core of everything I do, I promote mental and physical balance and wellness.
I am a Certified Les Mills Instructor, and a Certified Fitness Instructor. Outside of the gym I run my ETM group fitness classes (mixed ability), which I choreograph, and I organise a great playlist to find the group's energy. I'm always excited to welcome new people to the group, to get involved with this uplifting and addictive form of fitness.
As a lifestyle coach I have a diverse role in my client's life. I may start working with a client because they would like my professional organising skills. However, if they have other areas in their life, which are not in alignment, such as work+life balance, anxiety levels (including anxiety disorders), incorporating fitness into a busy schedule, or using it as a tool for mental rehabilitation (PTSD, panic disorder), or they may want to introduce creative activities into their down time, then I make a bespoke plan for them and support them on their journey to the next chapter.
As part of my mental health awareness campaigning, I love to organise outdoor activities like Walk and Talks in North London to get people outside, socialising, and discovering natural beauty spots. It's great for mental and physical wellbeing; to combat feelings of loneliness or isolation, to be part of a social group with a common interest, as well as other experiences to share, and to get some fresh air.
