Katra Byson is a wellness coach with a difference.  She helps people lead healthier, happier and more fulfilled lives through her special blend of boxing and mindset coaching 

 

Katra, who has a background in social work, has always been passionate about helping people realise their full potential.  It was through her own personal struggle with stress and weight management that she discovered boxing and went on to qualify as a personal trainer and boxing specialist.  Through boxing Katra found a form of exercise that was fun, uplifting and effective in both managing her stress levels and keeping her weight down.  She went on to establish 12 Rounds Boxing a boxing gym and community based in Clapham Junction 

Through her own training and from teaching boxing to her clients, Katra discovered that the benefits of boxing were far from limited to physical transformation.  Clients regular reported increased confidence, lower stress levels, more energy and general feelings of happiness and well-being 

It was her desire to help people in a bigger way that led Katra on to study neuroscience and gain a better understanding of how the brain worked and how we can actually reprogram negative thoughts and behaviours.  

 

 

Katra combined her love of boxing with a coaching programme based in neuroscience to create ‘Box to Believe’ a programme that facilitates clients to transform both their bodies and their minds

Katra currently splits her time between running 12 Rounds Boxing gym and Box to Believe workshops and retreats.  When she is not teaching or competing she loves to travel and can be found in a bikini near the ocean learning to meditate and slow the pace
