Key Changes-Unlocking Women's Potential
Key Changes is a peer mentoring and educational presentations scheme supporting women in the criminal justice system. It is a woman-centred approach addressing issues surrounding offending and resettlement. It is based in Sheffield and covers Sheffield, Barnsley and Rotherham.
The project is designed to empower and tackle personal and social obstacles, both in custody and upon release. We aim to achieve this by equipping women with the skills and strategies to ensure a successful release plan.
We also aim to raise awareness in the community with the use of educational presentations to the public to understand the deep rooted issues in society which may lead to offending and other issues women face.
