Lab.LX - STEAM Programs designed to engage, excite and experiment.
Lab.LX is a purpose built space for young people and adults to engage with exciting aspects of STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics). Through Lab.LX, the Fairfield City Open Libraries are able to provide learning and recreation opportunities, as well as access to advanced technological equipment.
lab.LX is located in Whitlam Library Cabramatta and its key features include:
- High-end gaming PC's designed for Game Design, Video/Audio Production, 3D Modelling/Animation, Adobe Creative Cloud, Fusion 360, Ableton.
- Educational and creative classes
- Fable Robots
- FlashForge 3D printers
- Meta Quest 2 VR Headsets
- LEGO Learning System
- Arduino Electronics, Makey Makey
Lab.LX STEAM is a children-focused space for STEAM education through structured learning and creative play. Aimed at children and caregivers, lab.LX STEAM provides hands-on opportunities to explore.
