Learning Together to Safeguard the City

The Learning Together to Safeguard the City fortnight is a new way of talking about how we all work together to keep people safe and well. It is delivered in partnership between the Safeguarding Adults Board, the Local Safeguarding ChildrenBoard and the Safe in the City Partnership Board.


The aim is to reveal and debate some of the most important issues in our city which affect individuals, their families and the wider community, as well as exploring the responsibilities of professionals in their everyday work and their contribution in keeping people safe and well.


A series of engaging and informative morning, afternoon and evening learning events will take place in Brighton & Hove, providing an opportunity to come together to consider safeguarding issues, with a particular focus on: Keeping the person at the centre;Learning the lessons from practice; and Working together more effectively
