The Leonard Cheshire Disability and Inclusive Development Centre (LCD) is an academic research centre based at University College London in the United Kingdom. The Centre is dedicated to generating a body of applied research around disability issues that will improve the lives of people with disabilities, and those of their families and their communities, around the world. Current activities include undertaking policy-based research studies; providing expertise for policy makers and other stakeholders (NGOs, UN agencies, other donor agencies); and sharing research experience and knowledge through field surveys, publications and teaching.
