Lewis is a saxophonist composer/arranger and vocalist hailing
from South London.
Lewis’s music is expansive, intricate, conceptual, scanning the vast
spectrum of Black music. Combined with his own cultural heritage
as a native south Londoner and black British Caribbean, Lewis
delivers music that blurs the boundaries between jazz, hip-hop,
gospel, electronic, alternative music and many other genres too.
He is an In-demand session musician composer/arranger, he
regularly plays for many high profile groups including House
Gospel Choir, MOBO award winning gospel artist Rachel Kerr ,
The Last Dinosaur, Boadi, Mykki Blanco. He has supported
Florence + The Machine with Mykki Blanco on a US tour including
Madison Square Garden and sessions with artists including
Chakka Khan, Arthur Verocai, Cat Burns, Primal Scream, Lewis
Capaldi, Tom Grennan, Laura Mvula, Corinne Bailey Rae
Lewis has support from BBC Radio 6, Tom Robinson,Cerys Matthews,
