Dr Nick Cartwright is a National Teaching Fellow, Associate Professor and Director of Student Success at the University of Leeds, and Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. He specialises in assessment, inclusive learning and teaching, and student success, and works with schools, colleges, and community organisations around the world to improve learning, confidence, and wellbeing.

Nick runs high‑impact workshops that blend compassionate teaching, wellbeing, and evidence‑based study strategy. His mission is to make learning feel humane, achievable, and empowering - especially during the most pressured moments of the school year. He is also a published researcher, sector consultant, and mentor to educators and students.
