In the late 1980s LifeChurch cast a vision to create a new, more modern facility that would better serve the needs of both the local community and the church family. In 2003 a sacrificial commitment from eight local couples saw £144,000 injected into a building fund which created momentum tht built up over time into more than £1.6 million of privately funded donations.
In late 2011 the diggers moved in to demolish the old buildings and create one new multi-purpose facility, which opened in February 2013. Today the LifeCentre operates as a not-for-profit social enterprise.
