Lisa "Labella" Stevenson is a Native Detroiter who has worked in The Educational sector for over 15 years. Lisa Labella has also worked 15 years as a professional Actress, Singer, Model and Dancer. At the age of 16 Lisa Labella had her first position working with the youth as PlayleadeR . Lisa Labella enjoyed working with children so much that she decided to volunteer with several organizations facilitating after school programs including Math, Interactive reading, Arts and crafts and much more. Lisa Labella also included her own 6-8 week curriculum working with young ladies to help build their self esteem, confidence and perspective on life. Lisa then took on greater heights in the Detroit Public School Systems and received a job offer as Paraprofessional. She has worked in over 10 Detroit Public Schools where she was highly requested, successfully serving the youth in Elementary, Middle and High School. Lisa Labella received yet another promotion as Culture/Climate Facilitator where she fearlessly supported young adults who were victims of poverty, suicide attempts, depression, anxiety and those experiencing mental health crisis. While working in Education, she has also worked as an Actress in several local stage plays, International films and now producing her very first faith based stage play to bring awareness to the issues that takes place in our youth and educational system from bullying, low self esteem and lack of self love. Lisa Labellas passion is to help share a message of hope, empowerment and desires to help save lives through her message. Lisa Labella is a current survivor of bullying, long term trauma, depression, anxiety and fear.
