Lisa Whittleton

Lisa Whittleton (Illuminate VR) Visit website

Lisa has had an interest in psychology and mental health from a young age. This led her to set up Illuminate in November 2013 as she recognised, through both her own early life experiences and her role as a Vocational Rehabilitation Consultant and Trainer, that more work could be done to reduce the stigma surrounding mental health in the workplace and was keen to influence this positively.

Lisa brings her background in occupational and positive psychology to life with her engaging and ‘real’ approach to facilitation, providing practical and evidence based tools that people can utilise in their day to day lives.

Lisa is passionate about promoting awareness and empowering individuals and workplaces to create environments and cultures that support people to thrive at work. Not only does this help the individual to maintain positive wellbeing, but also leads to improved engagement, morale and productivity for the organisation, as well as a reduction in absenteeism, presenteeism and staff turnover.
