Lyrix Organix
Lyrix Organix is a pioneering live events and arts education company that celebrate 10 groundbreaking years in 2019. They explore the space between poetry and music, with stages that have witnessed legendary performances by Akala, Kae Tempest and Ed Sheeran. Hosts of a major late night stage at Glastonbury Festival - the infamous 'Rum Shack' - and co-producer of UK Beatbox Championships. Lyrix specialise in designing and delivering bespoke combined-arts programmes - for all ages, backgrounds and learning needs - with a team of world-renowned voices, writers, artists and exceptional tutors. Regular clients include Roundhouse, BIMM London and across the world with British Council (Sudan, Ethiopia, Ukraine, Cuba, India)
School of Lockdown is a masterclass series for independent artists and self-employed creatives whose income has been hit by the pandemic. Lyrix Organix are committed to working at the grassroots to build sustainable futures in a new era of crisis and uncertainty in the creative industries. School of Lockdown is supported by Arts Council England.
Each series was accompanied by an Award programme, offering 10 digital tech bursaries and mentoring to invited artists with promising careers that need support to break through the digital ceiling.
