MakerClub

The World's #1 Young Inventors Club.

MakerClub run a nationwide network of clubs for young inventors aged 9-14.

In weekly sessions with our expert coaches, our members design, build, code, 3d print and laser cut their way through exciting maker projects, in a real working makerspace.

MakerClub is built on the principle that practical technology skills and digital literacies are fundamental to becoming a successful member of both today’s and tomorrow’s society.

We believe that delivering this knowledge through projects also develops learning and life skills, giving our members the best possible preparation for their future.

We believe that learning should be...

CONNECTED: Learning skills in tandem and discovering how they relate to each other makes for a more holistic, lasting experience.   PROJECT-BASED: When people actively explore extended tasks and challenges, they become more engaged and acquire a deeper knowledge of the subject.

SELF-GUIDED: Having ownership and influence in their learning gives people more motivation, and improves confidence, self-reliance and enterprise.

CONTEXTUAL: People learn far more quickly and impactfully when it’s a result of direct experience that relates to them.

COLLABORATIVE Working with others widens interests and builds social skills like cooperation, respect, self-awareness and communication.
