Free 'Making Every Contact Count' training
Making Every Contact Count (MECC) - is a training course for anyone who works with Ealing residents in the NHS, local authority, voluntary sector or contractacted/commissioned services.
MECC is about all of us taking every opportunity to ask, assist and advise people about their lifestyles, particularly about:
It is not about nagging or harrassing or telling people what to do. Instead it uses an evidence-based approach to individual behaviour change to empower and enable people to make changes.
Training is in groups of up to 16 people and is highly practical and enjoyable.
It is run by Ealing Council Public Health Department.
You can book your choice of training date here, or if you'd like to discuss bespoke training for your team please contact firstname.lastname@example.org or call Nell Blane (Health Training Coordinator) on 02088255683.
