MedX at Washington University in St. Louis focuses on nurturing a self-awareness in medical citizenship in terms of access to and social determinants of health in the St. Louis community. Our mission thrives on the amalgamation of interdisciplinary fields and personal narratives of people we serve. We seek to reorient the motivation of health services and challenge existing ideas of medicine, health, healing, and their systems of influence.
