Mike Taylor has been involved in online recruitment for over 10 years and established Web Based Recruitment in 2001 as an independent online recruitment marketing consultancy helping companies with all aspects of their online recruitment activities. Prior to starting Web Based Recruitment Mike worked in HR and Recruitment for IBM, Motorola and Nokia.

Early to recognise the potential of social media and the importance of mobile and video for recruiters, Mike introduced Europe’s first ever Social Media in Recruitment Conference in July 2009. This was quickly followed by the world’s first Mobile and Video in Recruitment Conference in September 2010. Helping recruiters maximise the use social media, mobile and video will be a continuing theme for Mike in 2012 as he continues to develop new services.
