mojacollective
moja.collective is a community created for the global majority to explore, connect with, and belong in nature, in ways that feel familiar, relevant, and real.
We exist to show that there is no single way to experience the outdoors, and no single way to feel connected to it.
Through hikes, walks, meditation, conservation work, and community workshops, we create space for people to build genuine relationships with the outdoors and with each other, drawing on diverse cultural practices, perspectives, and ancestral connections to nature. Our spaces are shaped by the communities within them, not the other way around, because belonging isn't something we hand out; it's something we grow together.
moja.collective is about normalising the presence and participation of the global majority in natural spaces, and expanding what outdoor culture looks, feels, and connects like for everyone.
Our events are open to anyone who identifies as part of the global majority, people of African, Asian, Latin American, Middle Eastern, and Indigenous heritage, across all gender identities, sexualities, and backgrounds. Wherever you're starting from, there's a place for you here.
