We are a unique foster care agency based in Essex, serving the East of England rated Outstanding by Ofsted.

Everything we do is about improving the lives of children who have had a difficult start in life, help them come to terms with their past, and develop a successful future. We know that the vast majority of children in care have had a difficult start. We have seen the impact of joined up therapeutic work on the lives of young people in our children’s homes, which we have run for the last 20 years. Unlike most fostering services we use insights from various models of therapeutic change by therapists who regularly work 1:1 with children and foster carers. Only by doing this work can we truly understand the child’s background and how their development has been affected.

We do this by recruiting great people. To ensure we keep great people, we offer an outstanding package of support, so we guarantee to be there when needed. With our SMILE approach, you will always feel supported by focusing on these 5 steps- 'Safety, access to our Multi-Skilled team, utilising Intentional parenting styles, Long term placements and a structured Environement.

No foster parent is perfect but with the support of your social worker and therapist we find that our foster parents get the balance just right!
