Miss Philippines UK came about in the year 1977, organised by the first Filipino Association called FAUK (Filipino Association in UK). Prior to that year, there were no special events for the community, so Miss Philippines UK Beauty Pageant became the highlight of the year. Then in 1998, Mr Philippines UK was formed, it was then renamed Miss Philippines UK and Mr Philippines UK. Since then, it has been a very successful event.

We want to recognise the beauty, talent, academic excellence, personality and achievements of the exceptional young Filipino men and women all over the United Kingdom.
