Museum Nord

Museum Nord is a non-profit, government-supported organisation that works within the national museum network of Norway. We operate 21 different museum units in northern Nordland, among others the Lototen Aquarium, Lofoten Museum and Gallery Espolin at Storvågan, Kabelvåg.  Museum Nord is a centre of expertise and professionalism for the region. We develop museum offerings and functions and support networks and collaboration on a local, regional, national and international level.

The See the Past - Imagine the Future Conference is part of the CINE project, a project that aims to transform people’s experiences of outdoor heritage sites through technology.  Project partners are drawn from Norway, Iceland, Ireland and the UK.  The project is funded by the Northern Periphery and Arctic Programme (ERDF).
