Nathan McLune

Nathan is a London-based photographer who specialises in black & white photography but also works in carefully chosen cinematic colour. His images whether gritty and monochrome or rich with mood and atmosphere are rooted in intentional image-making. Influenced by the Provoke Movement, Nathan’s black & white work captures fleeting, everyday moments through blur, grain, and high contrast. His colour photography leans into the atmospheric and filmic, evoking the feeling of a still from a movie.

After years of chasing technical perfection with digital gear, Nathan turned to film to slow down and reconnect with the core purpose of photography. This shift reignited his creativity, and now he helps others rediscover that spark.

He hosts small, in-person workshops for beginners and hobbyists, offering a practical, supportive environment for those curious about exploring film photography. His mission is to help participants build confidence, develop curiosity, and find their own creative voice, whether they’re brand new to photography or experienced digital shooters looking to explore the medium of film.
