Nazanin Dast Afkan

Nazanin Dast Afkan is an Iranian mezzo-soprano and a postgraduate student of Vocal Performance at the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama.Originally trained in architecture, she later discovered her true calling in music and has since dedicated herself to exploring the emotional depth and cultural richness of vocal performance. Her artistic work focuses on bridging Persian musical heritage with Western classical traditions, often drawing inspiration from Iranian poetry and themes of migration, identity, and resilience.
