Nell of Old Drury Presents Comedy.

The Nell of Old Drury is Londons most 'Intimate Comedy Club', with comedy on 6 nights a week (FREE Monday - Thursday) at 8pm. It has the look and feel you would expect from a traditional English pub. Situated accross the road from the Theatre Royal Drury Lane, it has long associations with Londons literary and theatrical community, and still does is to this day.

Our pub is one of the oldest in Covent Garden. An underground tunnel connects the pub to the Theatre Royal opposite which was used by King Charles II when visiting his mistress Nell Gwynne during the late 1600's.

The pub was also a regular haunt of the market traders when the Covent Garden Fruit and Veg market was still in existence. It even made an appearence in the penultimate Alfred Hitchcock movie 'Frenzy', which was set in the area.
