Nigerian Anglican Communion Chaplaincy

The Nigerian Anglican Chaplaincy was birthed in 1980 by the Church Missionary Society (CMS) in collaboation with the Church of Nigeria Anglican Commuinion and the Overseas Fellowship of Nigerian Christians in the UK. This was in response to the spiritual, social and welfare needs of Nigerian students in the UK and to assist local churches to engage with Nigerian studentsvin need of a spiritual base and greater moral support.

The current vision of the Chaplaincy is to establish a stronger prescence in the UK to meet increasing needs of Nigerians of all faith and none. This presents a good prospect for an increase in the number of people who participate in the chaplaincy programmes and those who access our ministries and services.
