Northern School of Esoteric Wisdom
. I began attending lectures and a small group at the Toronto Theosophical Society. At this time, I began to read the work of the Tibetan Master D.K. through the books of A.A.B., and to meditate regularly. Starting in 1975, I was fortunate to find an esoteric group of aspirants in Toronto, lead by a very sincere, and knowledgeable teacher, RN who eventually became my teacher.
In the summer of 1977, an old call resided in my heart, and I traveled to India for six weeks visiting many sacred sites: meditating at Arunachala, Amarnath, and Elora Caves. I had life changing spiritual experiences, one of which caused me to be escorted out of Calcutta by the police. In 1978, I had my first experience the Master R. Three weeks later my teacher RN was given a ‘Word of Power’(mantra) by the Master R. I dealt with this in detail in my book, Living on the Inner Edge. In late 1980, I returned to India staying in a silent retreat in Darjeeling for eight months before journeying to the Buddhist kingdom of Ladakh. Later, in 1981 RN and some group members came to India, where we travelled together, visiting numerous sacred locations. Late on afternoon when we meditated in the Elora caves, an initiate was present, and increased, the shakti/energy level of the Word of Power, uplifting the octave.
I returned to Toronto in late 1981 and gave my first series of lectures on Yoga Vidya at the Toronto Theosophical Society discussing such topics as the ‘Occult Constitution of Man’ (Atma Vidya), and the Five Buddhas of Transformation. In 1987 I traveled to China and made my way to Tibet. In the late 90’s and early 2000’s, I started some meditation groups, in Toronto, New Jersey, and NYC, and started staging public WESAK meditations. I met my wife, Susie in 2011 and together we started a Full Moon meditation group that has been functioning up to the present day. In 2014 I returned to India and then again in 2015. Both trips were very eventful due to occult experiences that helped to propel my spiritual progress. Upon returning to Toronto, I began writing my first book, Living on the Inner Edge, published in late 2018, a memoir of my spiritual travels mixed with esoteric writings. In 2018 I staged the Symposium of Alternate Healing, and in 2019 the Symposium on the Ageless Wisdom, both events were well attended. Presently, I’m the director of the Northern School of Esoteric Wisdom, working with other disciples developing the Esoteric Group Work, guided by several Masters of Wisdom. My second book, Esoteric Writings, Group Work for the Aquarian Age will soon be published in late 2024.

In 1975, Cyrus Ryan had the good fortune to meet his spiritual teacher, RN (Runganada) an advanced initiate who had gained the siddhi of mantra-shakti and initiated Cyrus Ryan into esoteric teaching and mantreyana.
Many years later, Cyrus Ryan put together an esoteric group with several advanced disciples, three of whom are very clairvoyant, and one is also has esoteric healing abilities.

Biography of Cyrus Ryan
Vision and creativity are two major characteristics born within me under the sign of Sagittarius. In 1977, I traveled to India visiting sacred sites: meditating at Arunachala, Amarnath, and Elora Caves. I had life changing spiritual experiences at Belur Math near Kolkata, that set the note for my spiritual life.
In 1978, I had my first experience of the Master R. Soon after, my teacher RN was given a ‘Word of Power’(mantra) by the Master R. In 1981 with my teacher, now in India, while meditating in the Elora caves, an adept appeared, and vivified, the shakti/energy level of the Word of Power(mantra).
By the 2000’s, I started meditation groups, in Toronto, New Jersey, and NYC, plus staged public WESAK meditations. I met my wife, Susie in 2011 and together we started a Full Moon meditation group that still meets regularly. In 2018 I staged the Symposium of Alternate Healing, in 2019 the Symposium on the Ageless Wisdom, 2022, Bringing back the Masters, and then the Soul Symposium in 2023, all these events were well attended. My first book, “Living on the Inner Edge, a Practical Occult Tale” was published in 2018, where I first mention my relationship with Masters of Wisdom, after being silent for 40 years. Presently, I’m the director of the Northern School of Esoteric Wisdom, working with other disciples developing the Esoteric Group Work, guided by several Masters of Wisdom.
