NX Hub

NX Hub is a hub for creativity, entrepreneurship and innovation, bringing together expertise from across Goldsmiths, University of London to boost the economy and help your business to thrive. We are a home for entrepreneurs to collaborate, learn, and grow ideas and businesses.

NX Hub provides practical training and advice to local entrepreneurs in New Cross, Lewisham and beyond, with a particular focus on supporting entrepreneurs from Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic backgrounds, and female entrepreneurs.

Drawing on Goldsmiths’ distinctive strengths we have a particular focus on:

• Creative and digital economy - We will draw on Goldsmiths’ research innovations in experience economy, immersive technology, design, music and computing to support the creative and digital industries
• Innovative business models and support - Helping enterprises to become investment-ready, technology-ready, and people-ready
• Environmental awareness and sustainability - Supporting enterprise development alongside caring for the planet

NX Hub builds on our record of work with local partners to support business startup and growth. We work with Lewisham Council to deliver business growth support to SMEs via the Dek Growth Programme and Digital Grid Partnership, and specific support for creative businesses through ShapesLewisham.

Our strengths span entrepreneurship, business and management, and our academics have extensive experience providing consultancy and mentoring to businesses in every sector.

Goldsmiths, University of London is a single site university based in New Cross in the London Borough of Lewisham in south east London. It was founded in 1891 as Goldsmiths' Technical and Recreative Institute by the Worshipful Company of Goldsmiths and became part of the University of London in 1904.
