OKIDO host a vast range of hands-on activities, interactive experiments, screenings, performances and live shows.

OKIDO Magazine is an independent arts and science magazine for young children and their families. It was started by parents on a kitchen table in Brixton in 2007, designed to fire up imagination and understanding of art and science. Founders, scientist Dr Sophie Dauvois (PhD BSc PG Dip.) and artist Rachel Ortas are passionate about engaging young kids in the scientific world around them through play, art and fun.

Ten years later and we are on the second season of ‘Messy goes to OKIDO’, a popular children’s comedy adventure series on CBeebies.

Every OKIDO event contains hidden learning strategies and learning-through-play activities for children and their parents. We strive to provide an environment ready to inspire and stimulate young minds through collaboration, curiosity, exploration, creativity, discovery, and critical thinking. Most importantly, however, OKIDO events are fun!

OKIDO events offer a chance to come and meet the team behind the magazine and hit TV show, Messy goes to OKIDO on Cbeebies, learn something new, take part in some fun activities, and make new friends.

When you need to know, go to OKIDO!
