The Parents Consortium is a charity originally set up by parents in 1996, which provides support services to at least 350 disabled children, young people and their families.

The charities services are divided up into four key areas: Short Break Service for Disabled Children, Family Advice Service, Direct Payment Service and Dragon’s Retreat Short Break Unit.

The children and young people who access our services will typically have one or multiple learning difficulties, complex health needs, physical or sensory impairment, challenging behaviour, Autism or severe ADHD.

This year we need to raise £1.4 million in order to continue offering our services to those that need them.
