Paul Curtis

Paul Curtis came across a previously unseen part of Coventry's Medieval city wall in 2017. Being a born and bred Coventrian he looked around to see where and how the history of our city is being taught and sadly Anglo Saxon/Viking/Medieval/Tudor is not really concentrated on so using Coventry's Medieval Story book as a guide and buying a medieval monks outift he started a tour business called The Deep Fact Friar telling the history of the city whilst in character as a Benedictine Monk. Supporting the City of Culture bid up until 07/12/2017 when we were announced as the next UK City of Culture and then supporting the reopening of Coventry Priory Visitors Centre, the original St Marys Benedictine Priory and Cathedral. Paul or Brother Paul can often be seen walking through the city centre with a crowd of people following in his footsteps learning all about out historical city. Normally Tours are between May and September apart from this one Christmas Tour.
