PechaKucha is Japanese for Chit Chat and all the information you could want to know is here:

But, in short, it really is about getting inspiring people together over a drink or two one evening to share ideas and stories with other inspiring people - all in a relaxed presentation style - PechaKucha 20x20 is a simple presentation format where you show 20 images, each for 20 seconds; meaning it is both easy to produce for the presenter and easy to digest for the audience. Started in February, 2003, Pecha Kucha evenings currently take place in 920 cities throughout the world.

PechaKucha London is volunteer run by Claire Lindsay and Brogan McPherson, two new Londonders who have a passion for bringing people together.
