Plus Size Pregnancy was created by Laura after giving birth to her second baby.

Having navigated her way through the maternity system as a plus size person, she realised that there is very little evidence based information readily available for plus size pregnant people, who are often made to feel as though their choices are limited and that they can't give birth how they want to purely because of their BMI. So Laura decided that enough was enough and decided to set up Plus Size Pregnancy providing information about all things pregnancy, birth and beyond for plus size people.

It's time that plus size pregnant people have a place to go to get information, support and a sense of community amongst other plus size pregnant people and their birth partners. Having an antenatal education provider who understands what you are going through plus being part of an online community who can support you too is a very important element.
