Polish Centre Shrewsbury cic

Polish Centre Shrewsbury cic was set up to help and support the Polish community with a wide range of services, but also integrate and involve them into the local community.  We want to offer Polish people a safe place where they can get basic help/sign posting and meet other people (not only Polish) where they won't afraid of language barrier. It is worth to know that we have more different nations and cultures in our town and area like Lithuanians, Slovakians, Russians, Belarusians, Spaniards, Italian and many more.

We would like to share our stories about our life, culture, food and traditions as a Polish community. We believe that the Polish Centre Shrewsbury would act as a bridge between the different cultures and through events and meetings we would encourage the wider community to find out more about Poland and other countries. We will arrange coffee mornings, meetings, talks, events, trainings/courses and workshops for children and adults that are open to everybody, not only Polish people to build community relations.

We work together with a range of organisations and agiencies like local authority, the Police, NHS, Severnside Housing, schools, the Princes Trust, business advisers and others to help support the community through the use of the centre.
