Plymouth Octopus Project (POP) and POPideas work with and for Plymouth's Voluntary and Community Sector. They provide support, advice, training and guidance to individuals and organisations who work within the Voluntary, community and Social Enterprise Sector on a range of subjects from funding and grants, social media through to events and networking and many other subjects inbetween.
POP facilitates networks and communications within the city, working with the grassroots groups and individuals to create a voice which is representative of communities and central to the development of the city. For specific queries relating to networks, advice and the VCSE in Plymouth please email firstname.lastname@example.org or visit www.plymouthoctopus.org
POP ideas run regular training sessions offering vital skills as well as offering business support and 1-1 support and guidance in Funding applications. For specific queries relating to the 1-1 service and funding please email email@example.com or visit www.popideas.org
Together POP and POPideas work together to ensure groups get the support, knowledge and skills they need, when and where they need it, helping the sector to work co-operatively to share resources, have bigger ideas and to make real changes
