Primary Science Geeks is a professional development organisation supporting primary teachers in developing inspiring science for the children they work with.
Founded and led by Bryony Turford, Primary Science Geeks began in 2014 after many years of working with a range of organisations across Yorkshire and Humber. We pride ourselves on providing affordable, accessible CPD on the issues that matter to teachers in our region.
Bryony is the Senior Regional Hub Leader for the Primary Science Quality Mark (PSQM) in Yorkshire and Humber and a proud fellow of the Primary Science Teaching Trust (PSTT).
As an active member of Association of Science Education (ASE) and member of ASE Futures committee, Bryony holds Chartered Science Teacher (CSciTeach) status. Bryony has been working with teachers to support the teaching of science since 2003 and is a STEM CPD Mark Lead Facilitator.
As the author of many resources including: 100 ideas for Primary Teacher: Science and was a part of the author team for SNAP Science from Collins. Bryony has experience working with a range of organisations to enrich the science teaching and learning of others.
