More than one in four litigants in the county courts have no legal representation. The Personal Support Unit (PSU) is a national charity that provides emotional and practical support to people who are facing court alone. We offer a free, instant access service provided by our trained volunteers who are based in 16 courts across England and Wales. We enable our litigants to take control of their cases so that they are better able to gain access to justice.
