Refractive Scotland CIC

Refractive is an independent artist led collective of film makers and digital artists. Refractive supports and presents the work of artists who use film and digital technology in their work within Renfrewshire and the surrounding area.

We are passionate about film and digital technology as a creative tool and we want to support the film and digital artists in our area to create innovative and immersive arts experiences for communities to enjoy. We aim to bolster our creative industries and reveal the wealth of talent working in film and digital technology in Renfrewshire and surrounding areas.

Our Artists range from young people starting out in their careers to long established freelancers and internationally renowned artists.

We are passionate about encouraging film and digital artists to explore innovation, present their work in diverse contexts and for wide ranging audiences, recognising the potential for contemporary film and digital art to support making a fairer society for everyone.
