Research, Enterprise and Social Parterships

Workshops and events to support you in your research and enterprise activity

The Research and Enterprise Development Programme 2017/18

Our programme of workshops have been organised by RESP and are suitable for research and academic staff, as well as those supporting researchers.

You can view our programme of workshops for the coming academic year, enabling you to plan your training and development needs in advance.

The majority of our workshops are clearly marked as:

'Introduction to' - these workshops are most suitable for ECRs or new staff

Other workshops clearly detail their target audience in the description. Please check to see whether pre-existing knowledge of the subject is needed in order to get the most out of each workshop. Feel free to contact the Research Office with any questions.

The workshops cover a broad range of topics and skills and are arranged by four themes:

1) Funding Your Research and Enterprise
2) Research Impact, Engagement & Dissemination
3) Governence, Ethics & Integrity
4) Personal Effectiveness and Career Planning

You can download our workshop programme booklet here

Note for research students:
Although some of the workshops in this programme are open to research students where specified, research students are generally advised to consult the University’s Research Student Development Programme, which offers a range of tailored training and development opportunities for the doctoral journey. See the Doctoral College sharepoint page here.
