The Rotary Club of Worcester was Chartered in April 1924 and has supported many projects throughout the years, both locally and around the world. Locally, Rotary has supported Maggs Day Centre, Snoezelen, an annual outing for children from Fort Royal School, St Richard’s and Acorns Hospices, Christmas Parcels and Worcester Wheels as well as working closely with Hollymount School and St Barnabus, to name but a few. Internationally, the Club has supported Shelterbox, Literacy in a Box, School in a Bag, as well as providing water barrels in Africa and lapdesks in South Africa. We are currently looking to support a project to install water pipes in Nepal to remote village schools.

Rotary International is passionate about eradicating Polio and the Club has supported the End Polio Now project year on year. All of the money raised by The Rotary Club of Worcester is used for charitable purposes and funds are raised through the Mayor's Charity event, our annual Board March, quizzes, social events and bucket shakes.
